Biography: Jingxian (Joanne) Zeng is a JSD student from China. Joanne earned her LL.B. from Nanjing University (2021) and her LL.M. from NYU (2022). She served as a senior research fellow at HKU in 2022-24. She was a Staff Editor for the NYU Journal of Legislation and Public Policy and a Student Editor at the NJU Law Journal.
Research: Jingxian's research interests lie in data and technology governance, informed by law and political economy, infrastructure studies, and science and technology studies. Her doctoral research will explore the production and use of scientific models in addressing critical planetary issues from a legal perspective.
