Exam Time: Study Aid Guide
Get ready for exams with the Law Library’s online study resources. The Law Library offers access to West Academic Study Aids (aka Nutshells and Gilbert Law Summaries), Aspen Learning Library (aka the “E&Es”), Hotshot, a video based learning platform, and books on exam preparation. Casebooks & Textbooks
The Law Library offers students access to many print casebooks and textbooks at the Circulation Desk. They can be found by searching Julius, using the drop down menu for “Course Reserves.”
Restricted Access Period
As we approach exams, the Law Library has entered its restricted access period during which access for guests and visitors is limited. Please see our Visitor Access Guide for more information.
Thanksgiving Break
The Law LIbrary will be closed on Thursday, November 26 and Friday, November 27 for the holiday.
Circulating Technology to Support Your Study
The Law Library has a wide range of lendable tech equipment to support your studies, including portable monitors, wireless noise-canceling headphones, laptop stands, bookstands and more. New circulating technology includes wireless mice, wireless keyboards, and lap desks for soft seating. Fixed external monitor stations are available in the Sullivan Street Study Room and Main Reading Room (South end).
Looking for a New Place to Study?
If you want to collaborate quietly with your peers, the Sullivan Street Study Room offers low-volume collaborative space and includes using dry erase boards and stress busters like puzzles. For group study, book the Group Study Room. Visit our Spaces page to explore other spaces available in the Law Library.
