Campus Location & Amenities
The main buildings that comprise the Law School’s campus are Vanderbilt Hall, Furman Hall, and Wilf Hall. All three of these buildings are near Washington Square Park in the Greenwich Village neighborhood of Manhattan. Hayden Hall and D’Agostino Hall are the two main residence halls which house law students. Students may also eat, study, or attend cross-listed classes in other NYU buildings, which are distributed throughout New York City and concentrated in the downtown area. See our campus map.
Vanderbilt Hall houses the Law School library, classrooms, Golding Lounge and Café, other lounges and study spaces, administrative offices, Tishman Auditorium, and Greenberg Lounge. Vanderbilt Hall is an elevator building and has gender-neutral bathrooms on the first floor outside of Greenberg Lounge, on the third floor in the main hallway, and on the fourth floor in the main hallway. Vanderbilt Hall is equipped with a lactation room on the second floor, including a refrigerator, electrical outlet, comfortable chairs, a table, and paper towels. To request the code to enter the lactation room, please email law.studentaffairs@nyu.edu.
Furman Hall houses classrooms, administrative offices, Wachtell Lounge and Café, Poe Lounge, and student group offices. Furman Hall is an elevator building and has gender-neutral bathrooms on the first floor in the main hallway, on the second floor in the main hallway, and on the sixth floor in the clinics suite. Furman Hall is equipped with a lactation room, including a refrigerator, electrical outlet, comfortable chairs, a table, and paper towels. To request the code to enter the lactation room, please email law.studentaffairs@nyu.edu.
Wilf Hall is the home of the Office of Admissions at the Law School, as well as many centers and offices for student journals. Wilf Hall is an elevator building and has gender-neutral bathrooms on the C level.
D’Agostino Hall is a residence hall which also contains several administrative offices and Lipton Hall, an events space. Hayden Hall is a residence house which serves law students. Hayden Hall and D’Agostino Hall are elevator buildings. Individual bathrooms are found inside apartments (there are no shared hall bathrooms).
