It's important that any forms we add to our website also follow accessibility guidelines.
If you are needing to create or update a website form we recommend the following tools, in order of preference:
Google Forms
Google Forms is the simplest tool for creating accessible forms. Your NYU account includes free access to this tool. See this internal tip sheet for how best to set up your form.
Qualtrics (NYU Survey Service)
Qualtrics is the next best choice for creating accessible forms. It is more complicated to use than Google Forms but it provides more features. See this internal tip sheet for how best to set up a Qualtrics form.
PDF Forms
You can create accessible forms in Acrobat, but it is difficult. We recommend this option only if you need to have a printable form as well. Be sure to consult the NYU page about PDF Accessibility.
