Register Attendees

Please create a registration process for your event. Make sure to collect full names and email addresses to assist with distribution of written materials before your event and distribution of CLE Certificates of Attendance after your event.

Distribute Written Materials

Written materials may be distributed before your event but must also be available at your event.

You may distribute written materials in digital or electronic format before your event using a web link, email distribution list or other method.

For in-person events, please have printed copies of your written materials available at the start of your event. At the start of an online webinar, please provide attendees with information on how to obtain the written materials. For example, you may post copies of the written materials in a Zoom chat or you may post a link to your written materials.

You may not distribute your materials after the conclusion of your event.

Prepare Attendance Verification Materials

Sign-In/Out Sheets

Prepare and print sign-in/out sheets for traditional live classroom events. The following information must be printed on the sheets: title, date, start/end times, and location (city/state) of the event. You may also prefill the names and email address of expected attendees. A sample CLE sign-in/out sheet is available for your use.

Attendees seeking CLE credit must sign in and note the time of arrival AND sign out and note the time of departure. CLE credit cannot be issued to an attendee who does not sign in AND out of an event.

Course Codes and Attorney Affirmation

Organizers of "live simultaneous transmission" events (webinars) should prepare to use CLE course codes and attorney affirmations. Please follow these instructions

Prepare a Program Evaluation

Create a program evaluation to be distributed to attendees at the conclusion of your event. You must provide attendees the opportunity to rate the course content, instruction, written materials, facility (for in-person events) and technology.  If there is other data you’d like to gather, you can tailor the evaluation to meet your needs. A sample evaluation form is available for your use.
