Jointly hosted by the Bingham Centre, the New York Review of Books (as part of its 50th Anniversary programme), and Georgetown University Law Center, the event is held in memory of Ronald Dworkin who died in 2013. One of the 20th century's most eminent and influential legal scholars in rights and justice, Ronald Dworkin held prestigious chairs on both sides of the Atlantic as a Professor of Law & Philosophy at New York University and as a Professor of Jurisprudence at University College, London.
