Plan ahead to visit the Law School, located just off historic Washington Square Park in the Greenwich Village neighborhood of downtown Manhattan.
Campus Visit Program
Prospective graduate law students are welcome to visit campus to learn more about what it's like to be a part of our innovative and dynamic community. You will be able to tour our main buildings, have your questions answered in person, and explore the surrounding neighborhood.
These visits are for informational purposes only, and are limited to LLM and JSD candidates with up to two guests. (Prospective JD students should connect with admissions for information about visiting.) At this time, we are unable to accommodate guests on short notice, same day walk-ins, or groups.
To make arrangements for a tour, you must register with us at least five business days in advance.
Fall 2024 Hours
You may schedule a visit on any weekday between September 9 and November 27.
- Earliest arrival: 10:30 a.m.
- Latest arrival: 3:30 p.m.
Visits end by 4:30 p.m. daily.
We are unable to sponsor visits on October 14, November 5, weekends, or observed holidays because the Law School is not in session. Also, reading period and exams commence after November 27, a period when access to our buildings and the Law Library is restricted to students, faculty, and staff.
Before You Arrive
Expect email correspondence to confirm and plan your visit. Bring the confirmation email and a government-issued ID to access campus buildings. Upon arrival, you'll come to Wilf Hall to check in for your visit.
NYU Law provides reasonable accommodations to people with disabilities. Please contact us at least two weeks before the date of the visit with requests for accommodations.
Prospective students with families are welcome to explore campus together. Please contact us well ahead of time for more information about registering more than two guests.
