Eleanor Fox, Walter J. Derenberg Professor of Trade Regulation, will receive a doctorate honoris causa from the University of Paris—Dauphine at a ceremony on March 11. Fox, a leading expert on antitrust and comparative competition law who served as a committee and commission member on antitrust and international competition matters during the Carter and Clinton administrations, is being honored for her work on issues of global governance, and particularly on competition law and global governance. Following the conferring of the degree, Fox will deliver a lecture, "Global Legal Norms and Efficiency and Justice in the World: The Soft Underbelly of Global Convergence."
