Take a Practice Exam and Enter to Win!

All students who take a practice exam by the compliance deadline and answer question 1 as “True” using the multiple choice feature will be entered into a raffle to win an NYU Law branded PopSocket!​​​​​

Official Rules

  1. NO PURCHASE NECESSARY. Void where prohibited. Subject to all federal, state, local and international laws.
  2. Sponsor: NYU School of Law, 245 Sullivan Street, Suite 400, New York, NY 10012 is the Sponsor of this drawing. Sponsor reserves the right to cancel or terminate the drawing at its discretion, at any time and without notice.
  3. To Enter: To enter, you must successfully install the most current version of Exam4 on your personal computer, complete the practice exam using the correct examID by Friday, May 2, 2025 at 5:00 p.m., and answer question 1 as “True” using the multiple choice feature. There is a limit of one entry per person.
  4. Start and End Dates: The overall promotional period begins at 12:00 a.m. EST on April 21, 2025 and ends at 5:00 p.m. EST on May, 2, 2025 (the “Promotional Period”). 
  5. Prize Drawing and Winners: There will be one prize drawing at the end of the Promotional Period (the “Prize Drawing”).  80 winners will be selected for the Prize Drawing.  All individuals who enter the promotion during the Promotional Period will be entered into the Prize Drawing.  
  6. Eligibility: Prize drawing is open to all current NYU School of Law students who are 18 years of age or older. Minors who enter the drawing must have the prior written permission of a parent or legal guardian to enter and to receive any prizes, which permission must be submitted in order to receive a prize, if awarded. Employees of Sponsor and their immediate family members are not eligible.
  7. Odds: Odds of winning depend on the number of qualified entries received.
  8. How Winners will be Determined: Prize winners will be selected in random drawings from among all eligible entries. Participants will be compiled into a list and winners will be selected via random selection tool. The Sponsor’s decisions are final and binding.
  9. Prizes: Prizes for the Prize Drawing may include:  PopSocket PopGrip Wood - Bamboo valued at approximately $12.
  10. Winner Notification: The prize winners will be notified via email by NYU School of Law through the winner’s NET ID provided by the participant in the Exam4 installation process. The prizes will be available for pick up at NYU School of Law, 245 Sullivan St, Suite 400, New York, NY 10012. Prizes will be available for pickup by a winner between 9am EST and 5pm EST, Monday-Friday.  A winner must present their NYU ID card to receive a prize or make arrangements with the School of Law to have a prize mailed to them.  Winners will have 7 days to acknowledge their selection as a winner via responding to the notification email or calling 212-998-6020. The first day counted will be the day following the drawing in which said winner is selected. If winner does not respond by the end of the seventh day a new winner will be chosen. A list of winners may be requested by mail to the Sponsor address.
  11. Waiver: By participating in this drawing, participants release, discharge, indemnify, and hold harmless, Sponsor from any liability, claims, loss, damages, actual or consequential, or expense arising out of or in connection with participation in this drawing or the acceptance, use or misuse of any prize. Sponsor is not responsible for late, illegible, incomplete, misdirected, lost or incorrect entries; technical malfunctions relating to the computer, online system or equipment; entries not received due to lost, failed, delayed or interrupted transmissions, systems or network errors or failures; or any other electronic malfunctions.
  12. Rights Granted: By entering the drawing, the participant grants the Sponsor the right to (i) reshare the submitted entries via social media during the drawing period for marketing or publicity purposes; and (ii) in the event the participant is a winner, use the participant's name, likeness, and biographical information, and the winning entry, for marketing or publicity purposes.
  13. General. No participant or winner has the right to contest any action or decision of the Sponsor. Participant’s entry into the drawing constitutes agreement to these Official Rules. Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify any entry if, in its sole judgment, a participant has not complied with the rules or has attempted to disrupt the operation of the drawing or violated any applicable law or NYU policy. The Rules and any disputes hereunder shall be governed by New York law without regard to conflicts of laws principles.
