The Center's annual event will feature a discussion with Dan Slepian and several exonerates he features in his book about prosecutorial misconduct and wrongful convictions. The panel will discuss the impact these wrongful prosecutions had on the lives of the exonerees and their families, and the resistance from prosecutors' offices when they were confronted with the possibility of a wrongful conviction. The panel will also discuss what prosecutors' offices can and should be doing in these cases.
