The event’s purpose is to educate students about the women’s rights and human rights abuses occurring in Iran and the social, political, and cultural climate that has led to the ongoing protests. There will also be a fundraising opportunity to support those affected in Iran. The event will include a panel featuring professors and activists working in the space, and include student-submitted Q&A.
