What Matters and Why: Understanding What Drives Startup Ecosystems
Presented by Jeff Bloom ’92, LLM ’93 in partnership with the NYU Law EVC Program

This workshop will provide an overview of the financial drivers for startups and how they influence fund structure and formation. Using real-world examples, participants will gain insights into how venture capital (VC) general partners evaluate investments and how their strategies may evolve as a startup grows and develops. The discussion will also explore the role of ECVC (emerging companies and venture capital) legal practice in this broader context.

The workshop is open to NYU Law students as well as the larger NYU Law and NYU community. We are pleased to cohost this program with the NYU Law Social Entrepreneurship - Startup Law student group.
