Are you an F-1 international student getting ready to graduate? You’ve probably heard of OPT or “Optional Practical Training”. F-1 students interested in pursuing professional practical experience in the U.S. after graduation will need to apply for work authorization. Join the Office of Global Service as they discuss OPT in greater detail, how to apply, the processing timeline, what documents you’ll need, travel advice, and reporting requirements. All graduating F-1 students are strongly encouraged to participate even if you have applied in the past.
