The Institute of Judicial Administration (IJA) brings together seasoned appellate advocates Ian H. Gershengorn, Esq. (Jenner & Block, former Acting US Solicitor General) and Sarah Harrington, Esq. (Goldstein & Russell) to discuss select rulings from the Court's recent term on issues of abortion (June Medical Services LLC v. Russo), DACA (Dept. of Homeland Security v. Regents of the Univ. of California), Title VII (Bostock v. Clayton County), and executive privilege (Trump v. Vance, and Trump v. Mazars USA, LLP). What issues might the courts below see as a result? Gershengorn and Harrington will also preview two cases on the Court's current docket (California v. Texas and Fulton v. City of Philadelphia), and explore what impact the Court's changing composition may have on the analysis of issues presented. IJA Faculty Director, Prof. Troy McKenzie, will facilitate. Held in cooperation with the NYU Law Supreme Court Forum.
