About the Rising Tide Program:
SE-SL's Rising Tide program is a project run by attorneys at Lowenstein Sandler and the nonprofit Rising Tide Capital where law students are invited to tag onto pro bono client assignments. The program aims to provide legal services to local entrepreneurs and small business owners who are in the start-up phase or contemplating expansion of their operations. This is one of the very few transactional semi-"clinical" experiences you can get as a 1L at NYU and you can expect to obtain hours to count toward the NY Bar Pro bono requirement! The training session is the first stage of the program, as client pairing and counseling runs during the Spring.
