SAFER is NYU Law's Harm Reduction organization we focus on issues of law and policy regarding the decriminalization of sex work, drugs, and homelessness. We also promote direct service and action to ameliorate the effects of the carceral industrial complex.

Naloxone is a life-saving drug akin to an EpiPen or CPR but many institutions downtown, including NYU, make their Naloxone supply unduly restricted or completely unavailable. Thus SAFER has created a Naloxone training campaign with the goals of 1) getting as many people trained in administering Naloxone as possible, and 2) getting as many people carrying Naloxone as possible.

This Thursday, October 26th, 2021, we will be hosting a Naloxone training from 12 PM - 1 PM at Furman 334 and on Zoom on to both law students AND Faculty, we really hope you can make it.
