This is a virtual event
This event has passed.

Join the Art Law Society for a talk with Professor Laura Ricciardi, a NYU Law alum currently teaching at the State University of New York, Purchase College, about law and monuments, in particular her most recent research on the Lee monument in Richmond, Virginia, and the artistic interventions at the site while the case has been pending on appeal. Professor Ricciardi's legal academic interests are born of her interests outside of law: art, language, expression, history and public memory, and her recent research focuses on the First Amendment implications of public monuments. This event will be captioned, and please submit any additional accommodation requests through the RSVP form.
