Parole Advocacy Info Session!

Come learn about NYU's Parole Advocacy Project! Our group partners 2-3 student volunteers with folks incarcerated across New York State as they prepare to go before the parole board. Volunteers help applicants prepare for their parole interview (including conducting mock interviews), assemble a packet to provide to the parole board (including writing an advocacy letter and compiling other letters of support), and coordinate re-entry resources. We work in partnership with Appellate Advocates’ lawyers and re-entry specialists. This event is a great way to learn more about our work and meet other students involved in Parole Advocacy on campus!
