Who holds the power in financial markets? For many, the answer would probably be the investment banks, asset managers, and hedge funds that are often in the media's spotlight. But increasingly a new group of sovereign wealth funds (SWF), such as NBIM (Norway), PIF (Saudi Arabia), and NZ Super (New Zealand), have become the most influential capital markets players and investment asset owners.

In the case of NZ Super, it has not only moved the capital markets by its financial power, but also shaped the global development of SWF governance, Climate and ESG investing, and even the social media on Facebook.

Join Professor Winston Ma and Matt Whineray, Chief Executive Officer at NZ Super Fund, New Zealand on Tuesday, October 3rd, 5:25-6:25 pm for a presentation and Q&A session in Vanderbilt Hall 218.

Sponsored by The International Arbitration Association, International Law Society, and Asia Law Society of NYU School of Law.
