NYU Parole Advocacy Introductory Meeting

Come learn about the NYU Parole Advocacy Project! Our group partners student volunteers with folks incarcerated across NY State as they prepare to go before the parole board. Volunteers help applicants prepare for their parole interview, assemble a packet to provide to the parole board, and arrange re-entry resources. We work in partnership with Appellate Advocates’ lawyers (who represent the applicants in their appeals) and re-entry specialists. This event is a great way to learn more about our work before applications to the project open.
