The NYU School of Law Public Interest Law Center, the Law Alumni Association (LAA), and the Law Alumni of Color Association (LACA) invite you to the Public Service Benefit honoring NYU Law’s commitment to supporting public interest students and public service work. Join us for this celebratory and networking event on Wednesday, February 26, 2020 from 6:30-8:30 p.m. in Vanderbilt Hall, Greenberg Lounge, located at 40 Washington Square South. The evening of the Benefit also serves as the Annual Meeting of the members of the LAA for the election of directors. This meeting is scheduled for 5:45 p.m. in Snow Dining Room, Vanderbilt Hall.

The evening kicks off with drinks and light fare. Dean Trevor Morrison, Assistant Dean Lisa Hoyes '99, and the Law Alumni Association will confer Public Service Awards on members of the community for their exemplary commitment to public interest issues and pro bono work. This year’s PILC Public Service awardees are Sienna Fontaine '07 and Immigrant Rights Project, and the LAA Pro Bono awardee is Earl S. Ward '85.

We will also hold a silent auction. Proceeds go towards summer funding for students who intern with public interest organizations.

Individual ticket prices are $50. Tickets for recent graduates (from class of 2010 to 2019) and graduates working in public service are $25. The Benefit is free for all current students and faculty.

If you or your firm are interested in sponsoring the event, please email law.publicservicebenefit@nyu.edu or call (212) 998-6215.
