Join the NYU Journal of International Law and Politics (JILP) for its Spring 2025 Symposium, a dynamic discussion on the legal, political, and human rights dimensions of migration, displacement, and emerging technologies.

This year’s symposium will feature distinguished scholars and practitioners examining pressing issues such as protection gaps for internally displaced persons, deportation as a human rights violation, and the role of artificial intelligence in migration governance. Panelists will explore the ethical, legal, and humanitarian challenges posed by evolving migration policies and technological interventions.

Bringing together leading academics, policy experts, and legal professionals, this symposium aims to foster critical dialogue on one of the most urgent global issues of our time.
