NLG Movement Building Retreat

We’re excited to let you all know about NLG’s Movement Building Retreat being held next Friday, March 31st from 1 to 4:30 pm at The People’s Forum! Through this retreat, we hope to provide skills-based workshops like jail support and sweeps defense, hear perspectives from radical lawyers supporting movements with the law, and foster community amongst leftist folks on campus and dream together about what our future can and should look like!

Speakers on the panel include Samah Sisay from the Center for Constitutional Rights, Sophia Gurulé from the Bronx Defenders and Mo, a movement lawyer working largely with activists, queers, and prisoners.
