The Middle Eastern and North African Law Students Association is hosting "Middle East: Law and Practice," a symposium dedicated to exploring legal themes relevant to law in the Middle East and North Africa and laws impacting Middle Eastern and North African people in our own country. Some topics being explored include environmental law in the Middle East, Islamic law's influence on legal practice, and the weaponization of counter-terrorism laws against Middle Eastern and North African people.
