Making a Career in International Law

NYU Law's International Law Society and International Arbitration Association are co-hosting the panel "Making a Career in International Law" on Tuesday, October 26th from 6-7 PM.

The panel features: 

- Hélène Tigroudja, Professor of International Public Law at Aix-Marseille University (France) and NYU Global Professor of Law.

- Emily Ortlieb, Legal Associate at the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees.

- José García Cueto, Special Legal Consultant at Clifford Chance.

- Emma Iannini (J.D. '19), International Arbitration Associate at King & Spalding.

- Gabrielle Apollon (J.D. '15), Co-Director of the Haiti Justice & International Accountability Project and Supervising Attorney of the Torture, Rendition, and Detention Project.

These practitioners work across a variety of applications of international law, including arbitration, private practice, academia, and public interest. Panelists will discuss their roles, the variety of work that they do, and the career path that brought them to their current positions. Students of all class years are encouraged to attend and submit questions for our moderators.
