Law Women will continue their tradition of honoring alumnae who have been ground-breakers in the field of law. The 2021 Law Women Alumna of the Year Award will be presented to Susan Herman '74, Ruth Bader Ginsburg Professor of Law at Brooklyn Law School and former President of the ACLU. REGISTER

Co-sponsors for this event include the Office of Alumni Relations and the Birnbaum Women's Leadership Network.

Law Women gives a voice to women's concerns at NYU School of Law. They accomplish their mission in a variety of ways, both within and without the NYU Law community:

•We provide academic counseling and advice to female law students, including peer counseling, tutoring, and academic resources.

•We facilitate networking and mentorship opportunities with NYU alumnae and the broader women's legal professional community through networking events and professional development panels.

•We organize social activities for both men and women within the law school, including community service opportunities and collaborations with a variety of student groups.

•We advocate for women's rights on the national and international stages, actively bringing attention on campus to important issues women face in the world today.
