Over a virtual luncheon with Professor Benedict Kingsbury, we will begin our discussion on the Trump Administration’s attempted ban on the social media app TikTok over national security concerns. Would regulating TikTok be fundamentally different from regulating Google and Facebook? Would it set a model for cross-border data regulations in the future? Professor Kingsbury will discuss law and global digital ordering projects in the 2020s.

This event is part of the NYU International Law Society Luncheon series.
