The Peter L. Zimroth Center on the Administration of Criminal Law and the Center on Race, Inequality, and the Law are pleased to invite you to the fifth annual Kenneth P. Thompson ’92 Lecture on Race and Criminal Justice Reform. Chesa Boudin, Executive Director of the Criminal Law & Justice Center at Berkeley Law School and former San Francisco District Attorney and, Tiffany Cabán, New York City Councilmember, District 22, and former candidate for Queens District Attorney, will discuss their work as public defenders and why they sought to become prosecutors. This event is presented in partnership with our Law Alumni Association and Law Alumni of Color Association. The program will include a short Q&A session with a reception immediately following the event. The discussion will take place in Greenberg Lounge, Vanderbilt Hall, 40 Washington Square South, New York, NY 10012.
This event has been approved for 1.5 New York State CLE credits in the category of Ethics and Professionalism. The credit is both transitional and non-transitional; it is appropriate for both experienced and newly admitted attorneys.
