The Center on Administration of Criminal Law and the Center on Race, Inequality, and the Law are pleased to invite you to the Kenneth P. Thompson ’92 Lecture on Race and Criminal Justice Reform.  The discussion will take place on Monday, March 9, 2020, from 6:00-8:00 p.m. in Vanderbilt Hall, located at 40 Washington Square South.

The discussion will examine the issue of race and the criminal legal system and the work being done to move the current system to one that treats people with dignity deploys empathy and advances racial and social justice.

Vincent Southerland executive director of the Center on Race, Inequality and the Law will moderate the conversation.  Our expert panelists are Danielle Sered, founder and executive director of Common Justice and Eric Gonzalez, district attorney for Kings County, Brooklyn.

A reception will immediately follow the conversation.

This event has been approved for 1.5 credits of CLE in the Areas of Professional Practice category.  The event will be appropriate for both experienced and newly admitted attorneys.
