The Journal of Law & Business is excited to invite all 1Ls to join us on Wednesday, April 10th from 5pm to 6pm in the JLB Office (basement of Wilf Hall) to learn more about the Journal. This is a great opportunity to meet current 2Ls and 3Ls and ask any questions you might have about the writing competition and/or 2L Staff Editor responsibilities. We are also happy to chat more generally about life after 1L and answer any questions that you might have about the remainder of the law school experience. Please RSVP here.
JLB is NYU's business journal. JLB explores a number of general areas, including: bankruptcy and restructuring; capital markets and securities; corporate law and governance; foreign and international business law; hedge funds and private equity; and tax. The Journal requires a very reasonable time commitment and there are lots of ways to get involved.
