This event has passed.

Journal of Law & Business (JLB) is excited to host a conversation on the future of crypto in light of recent developments from the White House.

On March 9, 2022, President Biden signed an Executive Order outlining the first “whole-of-government” approach to the benefits and risks posed by digital assets, which stopped short of making specific proposals for regulation. Following the Executive Order, the White House released its “First-Ever Comprehensive Framework for Responsible Development of Digital Assets” in September, summarizing the recommendations of various federal agencies’ research over the past six months. This panel will explore the implications of the Biden administration’s recent “Comprehensive Framework" for regulation of crypto, which has already received some powerful pushback from the crypto industry.
