IRAP is hosting a panel discussion focused on the intersection of the criminal legal and immigration systems in the US. The panel will feature practitioners working as criminal defense attorneys, immigration attorneys, and nonprofit legal services providers. Topics will include day-to-day work, current challenges in the field, the importance of expertise at this intersection, and opportunities for law students and early career legal professionals in this space.
