Four years ago, the Supreme Court issued its landmark decision in the case of Bostock v. Clayton County, a ruling that protected gay and transgender employees from discrimination. Come hear the plaintiff Gerald Bostock share his story with Pulitzer-Prize-finalist Joshua Prager, author of The Family Roe.

“The life of the law has not been logic; it has been experience.” – Oliver Wendell Holmes Jr., US Supreme Court Associate Justice from 1902-1932.

Lost amidst the headlines of Supreme Court decisions are the people at the heart of these cases. We present their stories in a series of conversations titled Life of the Law, and are delighted to invite you to the conversation in Greenberg Lounge, Vanderbilt Hall. A reception will immediately follow. This event is presented in partnership with OUTLaw, the Supreme Court Forum, and our Law Alumni Association.
