This event has passed.

Join the Identity Documents Project (IDP) for our second spring advocate training event! IDP is a project run by NYU students that assists transgender, gender nonconforming, and intersex (TGNCI) New Yorkers in obtaining legal name change orders and updating identity documents with self-determined gender markers!

Identity documents are an essential part of living a full life. They are required when applying for jobs, registering for classes, opening a bank account, traveling, renting an apartment, and more. Transgender and gender nonconforming people face systemic discrimination and violence, both of which are exacerbated when a person lacks identification that matches their name and gender.

Dinner will be provided!
