Event Description: Are you interested in how to positively impact technology? Is your theory of change from the inside of a big tech company or by helping government vet, deploy, build, or regulate new AI tools? Join Rights over Tech for an event focused on exploring some of the different legal careers and modes of impact that are possible. Come engage with leaders at the intersection of technology and law across academia, government, the private sector, and public interest. This series will be kicked off with a discussion with Carrie Goldberg—a victims’ rights attorney fighting against sexual privacy violations including deepfakes, cyber-stalking, and online abuse. The discussion will be followed with audience Q&A and a R/T mixer to mingle with fellow peers and discuss your own theory of change. Food will be served during the discussion, with drinks to follow during the mixer. RSVP here.
