From the Front Lines of Public Defense: A Career Panel with the Federal Defenders of New York

Please join us for a career panel and discussion with the The Federal Defenders of New York, Eastern District. The panel will feature three current Federal Defenders who will discuss their respective journeys as public defenders. The Federal Defenders is a public defender office committed to challenging and dismantling the systems of oppression that directly impact communities of color and marginalized populations. We strive to create an inclusive, welcoming, and diverse working environment for everyone. We are deeply invested in recruiting BIPOC, LGBTQ+, and non-binary staff to join our ranks and the panel will speak to our efforts to mentor and support our interns and staff from marginalized communities.
