Federalist Society: A Discussion on War Powers with Professors John Yoo and Richard Epstein

NYU Federalist Society will be hosting a discussion on War Powers with Professor John Yoo of the University of California at Berkeley School of Law and NYU Law's very own Professor Richard Epstein.

Professor Yoo is the Emanuel Heller Professor of Law at the University of California at Berkeley, a Visiting Scholar at the American Enterprise Institute, and a Visiting Fellow at the Hoover Institution, Stanford University.  Professor Yoo has published almost 100 scholarly articles on subjects including national security, constitutional law, international law, and the Supreme Court, and regularly contributes to the editorial pages of The Wall Street Journal, New York Times, Washington Post, Los Angeles Times, and National Review, among others.  He has also served in all three branches of government. 

Professor Epstein is the Laurence A. Tisch Professor of Law here at NYU Law, as well as the Peter and Kirstin Senior Fellow at the Hoover Institution and the James Parker Hall Distinguished Service Professor Emeritus and Senior Lecturer at the University of Chicago Law School.  Professor Epstein has taught courses in administrative law, antitrust, constitutional, contracts, environmental law, land use planning, real property, torts, and water law.  He has written and spoken extensively on a wide range of topics and writes a regular column for Defining Ideas.
