The goal of this online panel is to explore the law and legality of facial recognition technology. What are the legal and ethical issues involved in government and private actors’ use of facial recognition technology? What 4th Amendment constitutional concerns exist? What is the role of facial recognition in the area of national and global security? The panelists will discuss privacy and other issues surrounding the use of this form of artificial intelligence in the US and internationally.
