Ethics CLE: "Changes Coming to the Law Marketplace and the Rule of Law under Trump" with Stephen Gillers '68
Professor Gillers ’68, Elihu Root Professor of Law Emeritus, NYU School of Law, will discuss recent events in Arizona allowing KPMG to practice law and the national implications of those events, coupled with the effect on the law marketplace of the increasing sophistication of artificial intelligence and paralegal licensing. The CLE will also address the Trump administration's decision to dismiss the indictment against Mayor Eric Adams and the executive orders targeting law firms.
This event has been approved to offer one New York State CLE credit in the category of Ethics and Professionalism. The credit is both transitional and non-transitional; it is appropriate for both experienced and newly appointed attorneys.
