Environmental Justice Reading Group: International EJ
This event is not open to the public.
Join the Environmental Law Society for the final spring meeting of the Environmental Justice Reading Group on Friday, April 16th at 1pm NY time (Zoom link). We’ll be discussing environmental justice internationally, including sustainable development, intersections with human rights, and what domestic and international EJ movements can learn from each other. ELS will circulate some suggested readings in advance of the session, which you'll be able to find on our website.
The EJ Reading Group is a relaxed space to discuss and learn more about some of the major issues at the intersection of law, society, and the environment. We encourage everyone with an interest to attend; no prior knowledge of environmental law is expected, and no reading is necessary! We circulate a variety of suggested readings, videos, and/or podcasts for each session, but the aim is to learn from each other and to encourage new perspectives and new developments.
Interested in guiding a discussion, proposing a topic, or otherwise helping keep the group running? Reach out to ELS Co-Chair Will Rose at wcr241@nyu.edu and he’ll get you looped in!
