ELS is happy to host our first  meeting of the Environmental Justice Reading Group of the spring semester. We will be sharing a list of suggested readings here. This meeting we will discuss the intersection of environmental justice and climate change-driven migration.

The EJ Reading Group is a relaxed space to discuss and learn about some of the major issues at the intersection of law, society, and the environment. Throughout the spring 2022 semester, we’ll meet to provide an introduction to environmental justice and discuss its connection with areas such as labor law and workers’ rights, climate refugees, food security, and natural disasters.

We encourage everyone with an interest to attend. No prior knowledge of environmental law is expected, and no reading is necessary to participate!
