"A Declaration of Independence: Committees, Conflicts and the Courts"

The Institute for Corporate Governance hosts the Distinguished Jurist Lecture presented by Hon. Collins Seitz, Chief Justice, Delaware Supreme Court. Corporate Boards function through committees. For some committees, the directors must be "independent." Chief Justice Seitz will explore what it means to be an independent director under Delaware law, and how Delaware courts approach the independence inquiry in various contexts.

A reception will follow.
