The Law Alumni of Color Association will host a panel discussion on racial and social justice. Alexis Hoag ’08, Associate Research Scholar in the Faculty of Law and Lecturer in Law at Columbia Law School, will moderate a panel of former recipients of the Derrick Bell Scholarship for Public Service who will engage in discussion about the current state of civil rights in the United States and the role of the civil rights lawyer within that state.Panelists include Devika M. Balaram ’19, Housing Rights Attorney, Mobilization for Justice, Krystal Quinlan ’11, Assistant Public Defender, Maryland Office of the Public Defender, and Sejal Zota ’00, Legal Director, Just Futures Law.
