Defender Collective Panel with NYC Public Defenders

Join the Defender Collective on Thursday, November 7th, from 5:30 pm-7:30 pm in Vanderbilt Hall 204 for a panel with public defenders practicing in NYC. Our panelists will share insights on the many iterations of defense work, such as how federal- and state-level defense compare, where trial and appellate work intersect, and when family defense overlaps with criminal defense. Students considering working in public defense are encouraged to come with questions for our panelists, who are excited to provide insight into what work in this field looks like.
