Prof. Skolnick will speak about her experience as a post-conviction public defender at the Center for Appellate Litigation and will share tips for current students looking to pursue that line of work after graduation. Prof. Skolnick will also talk about the tension between appellate litigation and abolition and how her current work on resentencings fits into the broader movement.
