The African Law Association is excited to announce their first virtual reading session of the academic year! All members – as well as anyone interested in the topic – are invited to to join us on October 7th, 2:00PM-3:30PM EST, for a virtual discussion on issues of decentralization and constitutionalism in Africa. In this session, we will be discussing chapter 2 from Fombad & Steytler eds., Decentralization and Constitutionalism in Africa (2019): "Ethnicity, Decentralization, and Constitutionalism" by Yash Ghai. Anyone interested in background reading can also peruse the first chapter of this collection. The book is available via BOBST, but please don't hesitate to reach out to us if you have trouble locating the materials.
