The Disability Allied Law Students Association at NYU School of Law is excited to invite you to attend our virtual panel on Monday, October 26th from 1:00 - 2:00 pm EST covering the current state of global disability rights law. The panel will include a discussion of international law, particularly the United Nations Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (UNCRPD), and a comparison of the state of disability laws and protections around the world.

Our panelists will include world-renowned activist Judy Heumann, Charlotte McClain-Nhlapo from the World Bank, and Professor Michael Ashley Stein from Harvard Law. The event will be moderated by Stephanie Ortoleva from Women Enabled International.

To receive the joining information and for accommodation requests, please RSVP at this link: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSd-FoK0Rbqou7c1ERqMzr8dj9Mh_vxBdsBTpVhAUD8o1AaTkQ/viewform?gxids=7628. At a minimum, live captioning will be provided at this event, and we are working on finalizing ASL interpretation as well. Please still note in the RSVP form if you would like these services so we can ensure they are available.

Hope to see everybody there!
