The Judicial Clerkship Office (JCO) will hold a Q&A and a "How-To Session" on the Nuts & Bolts of creating clerkship applications. We will answer any questions you may have about the June 14, 2021 clerkship application start date for 2Ls and we will discuss and demonstrate the steps you'll need to take to put together applications to judges - from mail merge, finding email addresses, to which envelopes to use, etc. In addition, we will walk you through setting up your OSCAR account with your application documents and recommenders, as well as searching for open positions and creating draft and final applications.
Registration in advance is required and can be completed HERE. As you register, you can submit your questions or send them separately to Jim Nesbitt at james.nesbitt@nyu.edu. Please submit questions by Wednesday, May 19.
This session will be recorded and available for viewing on the OCS/JCO videos page of the Law School's website beginning on Friday, May 21, 2021.
