Please join the Birnbaum Women’s Leadership Network, the Center for the Study of Gender and Sexuality at NYU, the Institute for Public Knowledge at NYU, Law Women, and NYU Law Review for a virtual book talk on Deborah Tuerkheimer’s new book, Credible: Why We Doubt Accusers and Protect Abusers, which examines why we are primed to disbelieve allegations of sexual abuse — and how we can transform a culture and a legal system structured to dismiss accusers.
