Young women have been disenfranchised and discounted, but the true retelling of major social movements in America reveals their might: they have ignited almost every single one. Mattie Kahn, author of Young and Restless, illuminates how much we owe to girls throughout the generations, what skills young women use to mobilize and find their voices, and, crucially, what we can all stand to learn from their stories.

Join the Birnbaum Women’s Leadership Center in conversation with Mattie Kahn, featuring the Center’s executive director, Jennifer Weiss-Wolf, and the Center’s interns and fellows for a cross-generational conversation.

Books will be available for purchase and the talk will be followed by a book signing.
